At the beginning of every fall season, I take a look at my summer wear to decide what I can carry over for Fall. I have been doing this process for as long as I can remember. When I shop for summer clothes, I keep in mind “Is this something that can have a dual purpose?” I am a true believer in stretching clothing into the next season whenever possible. For example, I took my favorite beach cover, a long sleeve shirt and a great pair of jeans to wear into the fall.
Another, switch up that I am known to do is pulling my skirts up to make them tops to wear for fall. This idea has been my favorite because everyone is always asking,”Where did you buy that top?” Then I have to let the cat out of the bag to say it mildly, by telling them it really is a skirt.
One finally look I will show you is using my short sleeve maxi dress to add a pop of color to an all black outfit.
If you were to pair any of these looks with the two hottest boot trends(riding boots or booties), there is no doubt you will look stylish and trendy.
