And the 2018 Winners Are…

Triad Goodwill took over the Elm Street Center in downtown Greensboro on March 9, 2018 for our 9th annual fashion fundraiser - and this year's event turned into an all-out dance party. Seven designers showcased their collections on the runway - and chose music that had the crowd rocking! This year's designers, Virginia Cole, LaShawn Millner, Shaunielle Foster, Georgann Schultz, Amber Kapas, Desiree Hedrick and Jasmine Rhodes each designed collections inspired by a decade from the 1940s-2000s. She says it is her "passion to motivate hospitable behavior in the workplace." Ivey specializes in Customer Service Training Workshops, Growth Conversations for staff rejuvenation and motivational speaking. 2018 Unconventional Material Challenge

Triad Goodwill's annual Rock the Runway Fashion Fundraiser is coming up March 9 at the Elm Street Center in downtown Greensboro. We're giving you a sneak peek of the paper garments created for our Greensboro News & Record Unconventional Material Challenge. At least 75% of the visible material on the garment should be made of newsprint, provided by the News & Record. The goal is to create a look from paper – that doesn’t look like paper.
