2016 Rock the Runway Recap

On February 26, 2016, 7 talented designers took over the Elm Street Center in downtown Greensboro to show off their skills at turning Triad Goodwill finds into one-of-a-kind looks. This year's event featured the design talents of Amber Colburn, Brian Atkins, Cheslie Kryst, Floria Hance-Morant, Robin Otis-Clayborne, Timaya Kasey and Tiffany Flowers-Teague. Each designer created six looks using materials found in Triad Goodwill stores. Some of the most unique items included water bottles, ties and shower curtains. Three designers took home prizes for the 2016 show: Robin Otis-Clayborne won the News & Record's Unconventional Material Challenge for her butterfly paper dress. [...]
