I was surprised and ecstatic when I found out that I was chosen for Triad Goodwill Rock-the-Runway Fashion Show. So far this experience has been exciting. I have several months to prepare for the show but I am very eager to collect cool finds and incorporate them into my line. Though I have been an upcycler for most of my life, I have never re-purposed clothing for a fashion show. The Triad Goodwill Rock The Runway Fashion Show has had amazing designers in the past, which means I truly have to put my best foot forward. People who know my aesthetic and my brand are excited to see what I come up with and so am I. This will also be my first garment made from paper so this will be a new experience for me. This fashion show will definitely challenge me to do things that I have never done.
