We had a photo shoot in early December to showcase our first completed outfit. Big thanks to Pamela with Leon’s Style Salon for the awesome hair & make-up look she created for my model! I’m so pleased with the first outfit! The skirt was made from a dress I found at Goodwill (of course!). Because

of the way I cut the pattern pieces, there is a button in one of the skirt pockets that used to be on the dress sleeve. I love these unexpected surprises, which result in truly unique pieces. I also used a strap on the dress sleeve to cinch the t-shirt, and the elastic waistband on the dress found a new life as a headband.
After the photo shoot, I took a mammoth nap (one of my other favorite pastimes) to build up energy to get started on my second outfit. I’m so excited to see how it turns out and to show it to everyone in February!
