Ashley Carter is the creator and editor of FabEllis, a beauty, life and style blog.  Her passion is encouraging women.  She is dedicated to showing women how to embrace their beauty and affordable ways to be fabulous.  She shares affordable beauty and style tips, including how to incorporate thrifted items into your wardrobe and professional work attire with flare.  As an avid thrifter, she believes you don’t have to spend a lot to look fabulous.

She earned a BA in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master’s degree in Communication Studies at UNCG. She currently explores social, political and community issues as the News & Record’s columnist, and teaches classes in communication at UNCG.

Lynn Wooten is a native of Fayetteville, N.C., and has lived in Greensboro for about nine years. Previously at The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro, he is now Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations for Well-Spring Services, Inc.

I’m thrilled to again be a judge for the Rock the Runway Fashion Show — I had a terrific time last year! Also, I deeply appreciate creativity. Fashion is a great art form, and it’s a privilege to watch up-close as people take chances, put themselves out there and reveal something of themselves through their designs.
