Virginia Cole Virginia Cole: Unconventional Material Challenge What is the best part of participating in a challenge like this? My inspiration for the Unconventional Material Challenge was an Asian cheongsam dress that I found online from the 1940s. The material had a floral-type print and the neckline was traditional of that style of dress. Working with paper, it is impossible to do a fitted neck and shoulder of a dress like that. Desiree Hedrick Desiree Hedrick: Rock The Runway Participation Why do I want to participate in the Goodwill Rock the Runway fashion show? Participating in the Triad Goodwill Rock the Runway fashion show as a volunteer last year inspired me to step out of my comfort zone and try something new!
