Transition to Fall with Summer Dresses/Skirts in tow!!

At the beginning of every fall season, I take a look at my summer wear to decide what I can carry over for Fall. I have been doing this process for as long as I can remember. When I shop for summer clothes, I keep in mind "Is this something that can have a dual purpose?" I am a true believer in stretching clothing into the next season whenever possible. RECRAFTED – Alycia Hill

A couple of weeks ago I asked my Facebook friends for their help!!! I needed to know which 1 of 4 looks they would like for me to show them the reconstruction process in order to complete that dress. The crowd favorite was the burgundy dress with ruffles. The first steps included gathering all of the needed material that I found in Goodwill. For this dress I used a burgundy ruffled shirt, a bed sheet as well as a curtain. *Next I had to seam rip the entire shirt separating the ruffles, sleeves, and sheer overlay. [...]

Behind the Scenes – Chloe Bacot

October 18th we had out first photo shoot! Stardust

For my Goodwill collection I was inspired by my love of science and costume design. Astronomical inspiration came from different photos and drawings I found of galaxies and stars with hues of black, gold, tan, and pewter. Since I hope to one day pursue my career in fashion as a celebrity costume designer and stylist I thought the Rock the Runway Competition would be a great way to get my feet wet working with different celebrity personas and catering to their personal images.
