Tie to the rescue

In this blog I will discuss the easy tie wrap belt I created this past weekend for my trip to Charlotte.   The dress i decided to take on my trip was missing the belt that went along with it, so I decided to improvise with the use of two of my father-in-laws old neck ties.  I hopped on the phone and called to see what neck ties he could spare, with my luck it could have been a true vintage tie belt.  Lucky for me he had a few really nice ties that he was going to trash(see photo [...]

I am so honored to take part in this years rock the runway show, so glad The Goodwill offers this kind of outlet for designers to showcase their talents.  I had heard so much about this show and was always a day late/dollar short with submitting the applications.  Finally, a relative of mine sent me a text mentioning she saw the commercial and they are accepting applications right now.  That's when I decided to go for it!  So here I am, trying to have the most fun possible during this event. Meet our 2015 Goodwill Rock the Runway Designers!
