The Final Countdown

This week is pretty much the final week I have to complete everything in my collection. I still have a few finishing touches to be prepared for the photo shoot on Saturday. I’m so excited. Seeing all the news about tickets selling out is really exhilarating! Looking at the other designer’s blog posts and progress in so inspiring too. Everyone is doing such an awesome job. Local bloggers are getting in on the action and having the chance to do interviews with the media…all so exciting! (Again, I’m excited!) I can say, that at moments, this challenge has not been [...]

DIY – {re}crafting made easy

By Carrie Coyle It is seriously crunch time!  I thought for a second about posting pictures of me working away on my items, but then I thought twice about posting pictures of myself at 1 in the morning in the awful looking garb that I call my “work clothes”, that is just not a pleasant site.  Sooo, I thought I would show you in a separate segment how I went about creating one of the items that will be showcased in my collection, and teach you how to easily do it yourself-yes, friends, DIY! DIY:  Tap Shorts *Tap shorts have [...]
